I like the old Greeks,
the way their names
appear so difficult,
yet, slip from the mouth
with ease: Xenophanes.
If I have another child,
I'm sure to name him
Anaxagoras, Heraclitus
if a girl.
Parmenides, Protagoras, Thales:
Such pretty names,
such serious thoughts,
all so long ago.
